The form sets out the important elements of commonly accepted psychological practice encapsulated in the six core Competencies, which are considered essential for general registration. If case studies do not meet the standard required by the Board, feedback will be provided via the form to the provisional psychologist and his or her supervisor.
Please note, there is not a “pass mark” for case studies. Case studies are assessed against each of the required elements. It is the overall demonstration of the provisional psychologist’s understanding and application of the Competencies which is considered when determining if the case studies are acceptable to the Board. |
