Records Act 2001 as well as other laws which impose specific

Personal information is information which directly or
indirectly identifies a person.
The Board collects and handles a range of personal
information for the purposes of carrying out its functions.
These primarily relate to applications for registration as a
psychologist or probationary psychologist, the maintenance of
a register of psychologists registered to practise in Victoria
and accessible by the public, the investigation of health
issues affecting individual psychologists and the
investigation of complaints about the professional practice of
individual psychologists.
